Leica announces latest waterproof camera, X-U. Besides waterproof to a depth of 14 meters, this camera is also shock resistant and withstand extreme temperatures.
Leica X-U comes with an APS-C sensor 16,5MP, Summilux 23mm fixed lens and aperture f1.7. The camera also features the ability to record HD video up to 1080p at 30fps. However, Leica does not equip the X-U with a viewfinder, so users must utilize the 3-inch LCD screen on the back when shooting.
